J.SIINASTAH, a New Jersey bred MC born and raised in New York City's Bronx Borough, before calling Perth Amboy NJ his home,has taken his love for Hip-Hop a step further from the days of memorizing lyrics from his brothers tapes, to stayin up late as a child just to watch Video Music Box."SIIN" as his friends know him better by, has been rhyming close to 8 years now."I honestly feel i was destined to be an MC, there were always stages in my life when i was individually big on hip hop's 4 elements.I used to love watching cats bomb walls with burners on the ave. (Longfellow 165th),so i was into graf early on. Then the b-boy element grew on me as i got a little older, i used to watch breakin 1 and 2 religously(haha).My neighbor upstairs from me was a D.J. I used to get lessons before I moved out to Jersey in '94, so i got into that also, now at age 22, im at the point where i feel like im at home, the MC element, where i feel my most comfortable".Being raised in the birth place of Hip-Hop also had a major influence on his new found love for rhyming.Looking up to Bronx Native MC's like Big Pun,his idol and main motivator for choosing to rip mics,also a fellow Puerto Rican along with Fat Joe,and of course Krs 1.many other MC's, as time went by, made him work even harder on perfecting his craft like Nas, Jay- Z,Eminem,even his homie ArchRival."im a good judge of when somebody does something out of pure passion for it,and not for any other motive but for the love of what they do". Even though J.SIINASTAH has yet to have an album, or have a buzz big enough to have peoples ears ringing, he's been on several tracks with a few underground big shots, such as Pumpkinhead from Brooklyn Academy, and Brooklyn Academy(Block Mcloud,Mr Metaphor,Will Tell) as a whole.he also had the privledge of being a guest on new york's top underground radio show "squeeze radio" on 89.9 WKCR. J. SIINASTAH's new mixtape, which is yet to be titled or completed,but being worked on as we speak, will be his shining moment as an artist. It may be small to some, but it means a whole lot to this self proclaimed "baggy short of an ounce".
