After studying at the London College of Music and passing numerous theory and practical exams in Pianoforte, Joy Malcolm, first emerged from the crowd back in 1995, when she delivered her vocal performances throughout Incognito's most successful album ever, 'one hundred degrees and risin'
This album, which predominantly features Joy's voice, gave the band it's first ever highest credibility and record sales around the world.
During 1996, Joy successfully completed a world tour with Incognito, and this exposure was one of the highlights of Joy's career and even today, the memory of Joys live performances still live in the minds of many who were privileged to have seen her live on stage.
Joy has had the pleasure of working live on television and on live shows, singing with Chaka Khan, and live on stage with Grace Jones, George Benson, Roy Ayers, Dianne Reeves, Jocelyn Brown, Leon Ware, Kenny Thomas, Monie Love, studio sessions with Philadelphia based band 'The Roots,
Vocals on Maxi Priest's song, 'For the love of You',studio session with 80s pop sensation band Madness, Drizabone, French rapper Mc Solar, Bomb the Bass, Katherine Jenkins, James Morrison, Westlife, Shayne Ward, Snow Patrol, James Morrison, Lemar, Will Young, Leona Lewis Coldcut, to name but a few.



She wrote and co-produced a theme song which was later used as the soundtrack for a short British movie, Punchbag.
Over the years, Joy has continued her musical relationship with Vienna based artist/producer, 'Klaus Waldeck', and today, she is even referred to as 'the voice of Waldeck'. On such albums "Balance of the Force" and "The Night Garden", Joy co-writes on them.
She collaborated with Waldeck on his album, Ballroom Stories, where the first song on the album "Make My Day", was featured heavily on a Mercedes Benz tv advert.
Joy also went on a European tour with BMG international star, Eros Ramazzotti, singing in Italian and Spanish!.
She sang vocals on Michael Mcdonalds Motown album.
Joy toured and recorded with pop legend, Bryan Ferry and she features on his 2007 Dylanesque album.
She played a major role in the Musical, "Caroline or Change" which was showing at the National Theatre from 2006 to 2007. The show won 2 major musical awards!.
She also featured on the Rolling Stones song "Im Free", which was remixed by Moby and was used for the Chase Bank Advert across America.
Headlining a show with him at Wembley Stadium. 2008.
2009, on tour with the Basement Jaxzx In South America.
The voice of Joy can also be heard during Mobys song, "Extreme Ways", in the film, Bourne Ultimatum.
