Journalist, a South philadelphia native, who was signed to motown in 2001 after featuring on canibus swarthmore album 2000 B.C. has resurfaced. He also featured on a host of the hottest mixtape Dj's from Kay Slay and Clue to Doo Wop and Absolute and several more. Journalist, now free of his Motown agreement since 2003, has been building his swarthmore release set to drop in mid 2007 under his own company titled HardRout. After his debut release "Scribes of Life" he says "I'm more focused now on where I want to be in this hustle, this so called rap game. I've gone back in my bag!"

Journalist also featured with artist such as Mr. Cheeks, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, Floetry, M.O.P. , Freeway, Major Figgas, Bunji, Beanie Siegal and others.

Journalist brings back the feeling of Rakim, Nas, Jay Z and Kool G. "Im like a Big L. with a brush of Big!" Journ says. When you listen to journalist flow it gives you just that.
