Welcome friends. When I play music, I feel like I am somehow being made whole again. I love playing music with my amigos.
My childhood involved drumming on loungeroom chairs, organising backyard concerts for all the kids on my street, and recording cassettes of original songs for my dad.
After stints with various bands during uni years, I traded my prized-possession - a signed 1992 World Cup cricket bat - for studio time to record my first solo EP in 2002. My next recording ‘Suspended between radiance and darkness’ was launched locally in 2005.
Over the past couple of years I have enjoyed playing the Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2006 & 2008, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, and collaborating with other artists on various projects.
But what means the most is knowing that friends and strangers have played my music at weddings, whilst giving birth, at funerals, and when facing hard times.
