Joshua Meltzer

Joshua Meltzer is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who recently re-located to the Northampton MA area via Los Angeles.

He had two co-writes on Eastmountainsouth's Dreamworks debut including "You Dance" which reached 1 on the Non Com Triple A charts. He's had songs placed on the WB's "One Tree Hill", HBO,STARZ Networks,MTV's Real World Philly and Road Rules.



In 2004 he was nominated for an L.A. Music Award for Best Singer-Songwriter. He won the Grand Prize for the John Lennon Songwrters Contest in the World Music Category as well as 2nd place in the International Songwriting Competition. He also is a three time ASCAP Advantage Award winner and was chosen in 2005 for the ASCAP Lester Sill Workshop.He also has a co-write, On Peter Bradley Adam's new record "Gather Up" called "One Foot Down" . It is the album's first single. Also, Lowen and Navarro featured his song "Fall" on their new record "Hogging the covers".In December he received the ASCAP Robert Allen Award at Lincoln Center.



He currently is recording a CD with Malcolm Burn(Peter Gabriel,Emmylou Harris,Bob Dylan,Daniel Lanois). His E.P. "Digital dirt"is available @ www.joshuameltzer.com
