I have always had an interest in music and creative activities. I have been a songwriter and guitarist and singer since I finished school.
Blackbud - the band that has been an outlet for my writing, singing and playing guitar since the age of 18, was created as a 'blues rock reggae fusion' band in december 2002 - we started out on a strict diet of Marley and Hendrix covers, with a bit of Herbie Hancock on the side.
Adam 'fingelton' Newton and Sam Nadel have been my companions on bass and drums, and further details can be looked up on google for example.
We developed our own sound as my writing and our seemingly endless jamming seemed to fuse. After attracting some big label attention (the executives all came to rural pubs/rehearsal rooms to see us) we signed a major deal with one of the UKs main independent labels - with Andy Mac at Independiente.
We had a wonderful experience recording in the top studios, working with world class producers and touring all over the place, released 2 full studio albums, and some EPs, which are all available to buy, search online or contact me if you have any questions.
Mor karbasi (Top friend below) is my partner and a remarkable singer. I have been co-writing and producing her music for a while now, and her career continues to grow in the world scene. We are touring with this project in many countries. See www.morkarbasi.com

I was based in in London most of the last 5 years, with my personal life taking me to Israel many times, and my work (can I call it work?) taking me all over the planet.
I decided to sign up to a school of flamenco in Seville called 'Fundacion de Christina Herren' for a couple of weeks in April 2010, and had such a positive experience I joined the full course and from October 2010, relocated myself to Seville, Andalucia.
.
I like to play Blues, folk, Jazz, Flamenco, rock, classical, Gypsy, or I could just say I like to play guitar. I also have in depth experience in recording and album production, using Logic pro.
.
My instruments and gear-
Barba Estudio Flamenco (with miniflex 2mic - recommended!)
Arctic White USA Strat
1967 Red Gibson 335
James Burton Black and Gold Paisley Telecaster
Oud from Cairo
De-fretted Admira Classical
A strange powerful super distortion tiny bodied guitar. (stevie jeans said to use it for slide.Fingleton nicked it but hey. I wasn't playing it that much)
Fender Hotrod Deville (been through a couple of those, incredible amps)
Cornford Hellcat and 4x12 cab (even more incredible 'boutique' amp)
Various pedals over the years, cherished, lost or broken
Favourites-
The Wiggler (ElectroHarmonix)
The Sweet (Frantone)
DD4 Delay (it does so many things including Chorus, reverse and loops) Zcat Tremolo/Vib/Reverb (very versatile great sounding boutique style pedal)
Boss volume pedal
Hope you like the music and videos here (mostly demos and previews of later album material, but somehow I prefer the unpolished versions), there are things on Youtube too of me solo and Blackbud, and other collaborations.I'm always writing bits and pieces, so when I get new material together I'm going to put it here.
