Please visit www.missva.com and check everything out (especially during the pageant week!) There will be updates and new photos everyday during the pageant week (June 22-28) and I would LOVE it if you all could keep up with me! I am Miss Lonesome Pine, Victoria Jordan (Jordan Wright is my stage name) and will compete with around 25 lovely ladies for the title of Miss Virginia 2009! If you get a chance, you may vote for me on the website for People's Choice, which will automatically make me part of the Top 11 finalists on Saturday night!

I will be singing for my talent, and-who knows- this may take my singing career to a new place! :)

Much love!!

Hello.

I am Jordan Wright I am seventeen years of age I sing, but definitely do not dance (because my skillz are so mad that they must remain unseen so that Vanilla Ice won't get jealous).

I have been singing for most of my life, except for that slow point in my life when I couldn't walk or feed myself in the early 90s. . . It was also a bad time, considering I was toothless and bald. . .thank goodness that's over.

When I was younger, my goal in life was to become a rock-digger. but that isn't exactly working out now. so I sing to pay the bills. =))

Now, for some basics.

Contrary to some myspace beliefs I am NOT married, I do NOT know the Jonas Brothers, and I am not famous. Sorry to disappoint!

I do however love to write, sing, play the mandolin, piano, and guitar (my favorite to play is the mandolinI love bluegrass, but my favorite to hear is the pianojust not when I play it.) My favorite song in the entire world to sing is The Star Spangled Banner. My favorite place to sing is in church. I absolutely adore giving people nicknames, and I am prone to forget their actual names. however I don't enjoy having them.

My house was built in the 60s, and my bedroom wallpaper is covered in peacocks. yes, peacocks. I've actually grown to love them.but really, it's a rocky relationship.

I am a huge basketball fan, but I prefer to watch games live, not on television. Football excites me, but I generally don't understand it. Baseball is a thrill on wheels. And ping-pong is riveting.

I do not like to eat cake. I never have. I am lactose-intolerant, so that just sucks the fun filling out of the pie of life, but I'm coming to grips with it. I have a laughing problem: I do it loudly at inappropriate moments. I have a hitting problem (those with weak arms beware): whenever I find something exciting, or I have a great, new thought, or I start laughing, or I really like what I'm eating, or I'm trying to make a point, I hit the person next to me on the arm between the shoulder and elbow (give or take a few inches depending on the person's height.)

Speaking of height it isn't something to be associated with me. I am 5'1" (BARELY) and I am in four or five inch heels 6 days of the week. On the seventh day, I rest in three and a half inches. I have recently discovered that I love wearing dresses.

My favorite ways to exercise are with a jump rope and medicine ball. My favorite cosmetic is mascara. I am Master of the Dust-Buster.

I do not drink coffee. My little sisters, however, do. I find that odd. Sisters I have five in all. Brothers three. I am blessed to have two fathers, one mother, and a dog. (It's quite complex and you will need a pie chart to understand it completely)

My dog is a killer. Her name is Zsazsa (Zshaa-zshaa). She's trained to kill, and she is ten inches tall.

My favorite movie is Waiting For Guffman. Period.

My favorite television show is The Office. I aspire to be the Dwight Schrute of the coming generation, and love anyone who leaves me comments with quotes from The Office. they brighten my day! =))

I was once kicked out of a children's class at my church for locking someone in the closet. . . not one of my high points!

Spaghetti and apples are the two things I could eat all day. Sadly, the caffine-craze has me caught in its vicious web, and I am addicted to Dr. Pepper.

I have chosen not to date.and, yes, I am human. =)) . . .just a different one. I made a committment. True Love Waits. I never take off my ring.

Music is not meant to be listened to for a month and then considered "old." It's just bad manners.

Opera, when done correctly, is beautiful. Bluegrass is an acquired taste. Pop -from the moment released- is already a thing of the past.

I love to work and do it with enthusiasm that frightens most people. I don't have a good relationship with technology and getting on MySpace is one of my least favorite things, but when I do get on, I read as many blogs as humanly possible! . . . and it is actually really hard to find good blogs, or any blogs for that matter! People should blog more often! : )

I really appreciate EVERY single encouraging comment from all my friends on MySpace, and I do read them ! Because I get so many messages, it is hard for me to reply to all of them, but comments are easier so leave them instead!

I know this has been long overdue (seeing that I've had this MySpace for .two or three years and have never had an about me), so I hope that you enjoy this little tid-bit of silly information!

Goodbye.

=))
