Hello, my name is Jordan, and I play music. Yes itis very true, and I very much enjoy it. I was thinking about maybe writing on eof those third person bios and say things like "he is very inspiring" or "wow what a hot man", and as valid as those statments may be, it is far too fake of a thing for me to do, so here it comes.

I was born in the serene little town of Kelowna BC and travelled to numerous diferent places as a youngster, my dad was a pastor and so we moved around quite a lot. I didn't resent moving around, but I dont think that I always enjoyed it. Anyway as life began to sort itslef out as I was 19 or so I decided that the best thing for me to do was to move away again. So I decide to move to Winnipeg, live with some frineds and help out a church there I had heard of. It was purley financial suicide, and I really had no good reason to do it. But, things always work themselves out. I started to play music much more vigorously than I had in the past, jaming with a roomate of mine most everyday (Caleb Friesen from Jacob and Lily). I just started writing and seemed like a healthy thing for me to do, and I started to play some of my stuff to encourage people around me( its now turned into a much more selfish thing). But my time in Winnipeg was essential in seeing the poverty and heartache that exists beyond the suburbs. So I wrote about things like that. You may like my music, you may not, it doesn't really matter to me all that much, music is all about taste. Jacob and Lily invited me to toour with them fo rthe first time and I was exstatic. I was a wonderful time and very much inspired me to do something similar to them. Since then I have toured with them across western canada and played dozens of shows throughout the frser valley. But music is usually better with friends, which is where Lindy Enns(vocals) and Nikki wiebe(violin) come in. They are both tremendous musicians who I feel I cannot play without. So after about a year of pursuing music I have just completed my second CD which I am pleased with. Anyway that's about it, there are quite a few stories that fill in the gaps and tell a little more about the music, so feel free to ask, I usual tell.

ok heres a third person Bio.

Jordan T West was born is the serene town of Kelowna BC, about 4 hours from Vancouver, and has had music in his veins from a young age. He is an artist whose lyrics surround the rubbish of relationships, the truth we so often manipulate , speaking of things you may have tried to forget. Being played anywhere from coffee shops to international and internet radio stations his vocals and songwriting are often compared with the likes of Damien Rice and Dave Mathews mixed David Grey. Blatant sounds and beautiful melodies combined into an eclectic acoustic sound that will make you remember, even if you'd rather not. With an honest appreciation for the tragic yet beautiful realities of life, this artist will most definitely make you think, question and occasionally cry, while he continues to smile. His music is Skimming the folk scene from Vancouver to Winnipeg on two separate tours with some pretty twangs and an overly anxious appreciation for artistic truth. With clever timing and some ridiculously impressive vibrato, West may force you to tell your friends, families and foes alike. He is surprisingly rare with a true passion for sound, a love for love, and a lack of the pretension of this time which some of us attempt to avoid. His life appears elegantly through his lyrics, in all of the confusion, beauty, distress and contemplation which comes along with it. At performances he is often paired with piercing violin lines by Nicki Wiebe as well as haunting vocals from Lindy Enns. His music is there. Love, hate, admire or avoid, he will continue to sing. Jordan's hopeful yet analytical view of love, his heart that skims the threatening loss in life, and his fatalistic demeanor may attract or frighten you, or quite possibly force your tired heart to begin to beat once again. “(he is) an artist capable of reaching your heart in just a few notes.” Music Milker Magazine would you look at that, a link to buy the album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
