JONTRE's music is a mix of Latin music and Afro-American rhythms.
His songs have a positive content and invite to raise awareness and
reconciliation with nature; and also, they transmit a message of peace,
love, sensuality and a bit of craziness. He has published 3 productions
as a solo artist: "ROMAROPOCOL" (2011), "LOCURALEZA" (2008)
and "ENLAZADO" (2005), Being a performer, composer, writer and musical
producer, JONTRE contributes to the cultural and musical enrichment of
Colombia and Latin-America.
JONTRE gives us, through his music and on the stage, the magic of
sensuality, the happiness of the Latin rhythms that resound in the ears, soul
and heart, the lyrics that takes us to a world written with an exquisite mix
of intelligence and passion, and the images that makes us navigate, then,

JONTRE's artistic experience began in Medellín, Colombia in the band
called Cool Young, which produced the album "DÉJATE LLEVAR" (1999).
Then he traveled to Paris, where he was part of the multiethnic trio
called Freaky Jam. In 2002, JONTRE went back to Colombia and began
his solo career, mixing Afro-American rhythms and Latin music, and
producing his first album called "ENLAZADO" (2005). He performed in
the International Festival "Altavoz" Showcase in 2005 and then in 2007,
but this time as guest artist. In 2008 JONTRE launched his second album
called "LOCURALEZA", doing different concerts, among them: "La Noche
W Radio", Showcase and a concert during the Caribbean Cultural Market in
2009.
In 2010 he performed in the Ibero-American Congress Showcases. And
Now, JONTRE is touring with his third album Called "ROMAROPOCOL",
sharing all his passion and Music love through his songs around the World.
