Jon Morton

Born in the town of Poteet TX this singer songwriter gained a passion for music at a very young age that would be cast aside untill his late teens, it remained strong and although his music is straight forward country he takes his influences from many styles of music from the honky-tonk sounds of Texas and Oklahoma, bluegrass, southern rock, and even r&b. He began performing and writing songs out of high school after an arm injury ended a short stint in the professional baseball world. His music and songs are reminiscent of the old with a modern turn and creative writing that should strike home in many different walks of life, from love gone wrong to an old hot rod that never should've been sold to to tender ballads and love songs. whats in store for this young man is yet to be seen,but be prepared to be rocked in an" out in the country
