Johnny Sexual

"The name may be Sexual, But the music is Sensual!"



That was the introduction Ragnar Kjartansson gave me in Paris.

I was moved. So moved, in fact, that I danced with his wife through out the whole show. She's amazing.



But, to be fair, the music is a bit of both, mixed up with old synthesizers and computer noises. It also has loads of casio drum machines and hip-hop beats. You see, I used to be in this super cool hip-hop band. Actually, it was more of a new-wave-electro-boogie-hip-hop-punk band, but either way, we were super cool.



My best friend, Siggi Eggertsson, joins me on stage during live shows. He plays video using his laptop and my yamaha keytar. This makes the live show look nice. He's also making sure the album cover looks nice. But most important, he makes sure I don't get lonely on stage.



My debut album, Nifty Fingerwork, comes out in Iceland real soon. I've been making it on my laptop over the past year, writing songs about people I know and stupid things I've done. It's great to dance to. It's probably pretty good to have orgasms to as well.
