The Johnny Kobra EP is the result of one man spending most of the last three years in his Los Angeles studio writing, recording and mixing.
From acoustic slide to explosive power riffing guitars, decorated with organ and string arrangements, these five songs takes the listener on an emotional roller-coaster ride.
The vocals display deeper, more mature nuances than the debut, with carefully layered harmonies and everything from soft whispers to crying screams, grabbing you with lyrics that explore uncharted territories of a haunted mind and soul that has traveled the world and lived through both good times and bad times.
The guitars come at you from all directions, intermingle and weave together in melody, harmony and display great use of counterpoint. The leads make you think of great names of the past, but definitely with a fresh approach that sure has it's own Johnny Kobra flavor.
The outcome is a fantastic musical experience that can be listened to many times over and have new aspects discovered each time and is set to garner international recognition.

Johnny Kobra was born and raised in Sweden, where he toured and appeared on TV, Radio, Stockholm Water Festival etc. in various bands as a guitar player/backup vocalist, most notably with Syndicate (ft. vocalist Andreas Johnson) and Zircus (ft. Slim Pete, Leif Sundin)
Currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
The debut album titled "The Smell Of Rock And Roll" in 2006, displays catchy tunes, cut with a rustic edge, sprinkled with spicy blues-dust, but there is more to it than most catch on a first listen.
