John Lakin & Youth On A Mission

The purpose of YOAM is to create an atmosphere of worship and praise so the Holy Spirit can heal wounded spirits, liberate bound souls, and bring the lost to the place of experiencing the restoring, reconciling, and changing power of God. Our mandate is simply worship and we believe God will take care the rest!



We travel extensively sharing the message of abstinence and promoting higher education. The choir's mission is to encourage the young people of today to put God first, dream big, focus on their future and take advantage of opportunities to make their dreams come true.



John Lakin III (Director) is carrying out an awesome vision from God. Our ministry consists of about 25 missionaries, all of which are actively involved in ministry at their churches as musicians, singers, or worship leaders. They excel in academic studies and almost all the high school graduates further their education with scholarships.



John & YOAM had their CD recording on June 4th 2005 where they sang to a packed house. On December 8, 2005, they released their debut album "Expressions of WorshipLive". TO GOD BE THE GLORY
