Jo Harrop. A jazz singer with soul, a soul singer with heart, described by online review website, 'Bebop Spoken Here' as 'A Class Act', and 'an extraordinary singer'.
She is currently working on her latest album with guitar player, Greg Soussan, and has been recently writing and recording songs with pianist Alex Webb, as well as recording a beautiful jazz album with pianist Paul Edis, inspired by the albums "Together" and "Together Again" by Bill Evans and Tony Bennett, featuring the songs "Sophisticated Lady" and "Bye Bye Blackbird".
Other exciting projects in the pipeline are the breakbeat, jazz infused 'Stereofixx' album, with exceptional writer and producer, Hannah Vasanth, something new, fresh and dynamic to hit the airwaves very soon.
Jo has recently hooked up with writer and producer, Nigel Lowis, to be part of the Joey Nelson album, 'In Dreamsville', where she will feature on the songs 'He's not you', co-written by Dina Carroll, and the title song, 'Dreamsville'.
