I reside in Erie, PA. I have 20 years experience playing drums. 17 of which I have spent on a stage performing, writing and arranging, doing session work and small tours. I currently perform in a crazy party cover band called THE COVERUP with some of my very best friends and and original rock act called STATESIDE (www.myspace.com/statesideband) Previous to todays date I have performed in several different rock, pop, alternative, metal and indie groups in that time. For the past 12 years I have also instructed, arranged and composed music on the High school and College level. My students winning walls full of awards on local and National Levels. I do come from not only a rock/metal drum set background but also a Drum Corp/Marching background and I am proficient and an award winning performer in Jazz, Fusion, Pop playing live and session gigs with various jazz and rock ensembles in my tri-state area. I am endorsed by Vater percussion as an educator and performer. I most recently spent several years performing and recording in a Rock/Alt/Pop group called Super No. 7 voted Erie and Pittsburgh’s best rock act several years In a row. Carrying a Rolling Rock Beer endorsement we performed regionally in clubs and national act venues, including post gazette pavilion, and Rolling Rock Town Fair 3 years in a row. The biggest of which being Heinz Field (home of the Pittsburgh Steelers). In that time I had the pleasure of opening for acts like Fuel, Seether, Puddle Of Mudd, Def Lepard, Trapt, Saliva, 311, Blink 182, Sum 41 and Bloodhound Gang and Live just to name a few.

I personally have been influenced early on by band like rush and dream theater who carry some of the world’s best drummers (Neil Peart and Mike Portnoy) then the grunge faze and drummers like matt Cameron from soundgarden and Chad smith from the chili peppers, Herb Alexander from primus…and more recently Taylor Hawkins from foo fighters and Abe from Deftones, and Danny Carrey from tool and then a look back at older music from a mature stand point like Stewart Copeland from the police. I grew up starting out on a guns and roses Metallica kick, through the nirvana, foo fighters, soundgarden, alice and chains and into bands like Deftones, Chevelle, Used, Filter and Our Lady Peace.
