.From his earliest musical experiences listening to his parent's piano/french horn duets; to imploring anyone in audible range to re-play for probably the 10th time, Elvis singing 'Hound Dog'; to playing the tennis racket while Ricky Nelson sang at the end of 'Ozzie & Harriet' re-runs; to borrowing his father's fedora to aid in his Frank Sinatra imitations; Joe Giglio's focus in life has & continues to be MUSIC. (btw, 'fedora' is a type of hat).
A key & intense moment of transformation occured at age 12 when a much admired, older saxophonist cousin played John Coltrane's 'Ascension' for him-hypnotized. Weekly trips to Manhattan from the 'burbs to score any & all jazz LP's available ensued.
