Alrighty Peeps ?!! I'm a 33yr old Music Producer from Plymouth UK. I started DJing when I was 14yrs & started learning my first instrument when i was 17yrs and have been playing and writing ever since!!

. I'm a multi-instrumentalist (Guitar/Bass/Drums/Keys/Vocals and Logic Pro) & have been running Commercial Recording Studios in and around Plymouth for over 10yrs . I was first introduced to studio life at the PMC when i was seventeen, where i used my first 4 and 8 track tape and was tooling around with Cubase V.2 on an atari st with a black n white hi res monitor. God, that seems like so long ago now. From there i got offered a job in the newley opened BACK ALLEY SOUND STUDIOS which later relocated and became the COOPERAGE RECORDING STUDIOS. When the owner decided to sell up i bought the equipment and relocated and began workin for myself at EDGE STUDIOS. Above VIBES MUSIC and in the heart of the city centre, the studio successfully ran for four years as the most well equipped music production studio in plymouth In that time i worked with a variety of artists and bands both signed and unsigned, for theatres and dance choreographers, radio stations and Tv companies, managers, labels, publishers,DJ's and heaps of singers .As well as Re-wiring my own studios, i have occasionally been asked to redesign/build/wire/spec other small commercial and private studios in and around the southwest. I spent a lotta time workin on remixes with Play Recordings boss Si G on both his own label and other vinyl based dance labels from around the world under the guise of Cabasa and Automate. We also made a bunch of crazy tunes for tv. They were quickly signed out to library giants Sonoton in Germany back in the late 90s that still get used today!

One Day However I Woke Up n thought. F"*K it!. I spend most of my time being a studio manager (and a crap bookkeeper, webdesigner, marketing blah blah blah) and playing, writing, and producing for everyone else. So I wrapped it!! TIME TO CHANGE THINGS UP I moved away to live with a mate to help him with his media company (mad inertia productions). A very talented musician and film director amongst other things. The company worked on (and still does!) many projects and a lot of great causes (Please Visit LMHR Mspaces' in my top friends and show your support:). During that time and since my recent relocation to Plymouth (i'm lovin my city again) I have been freelance producing in other studios and multi-track recording gigs all over the UK. Credits Include: Ms Dynamite/Hard-Fi/Sean Ryder/Billy Bragg/Seth Lakeman/Roll Deep/The Beat/Neville Staples-Jerry Dammers[the specials]/Baby Shambles[Pete Doherty]/Mick Jones[the clash]/British Sea Power/The Others/Sonic Boom Six etc Also over the past year I've been honing my skills as a cameraman and recently travelled the UK shooting the Amicus Band Of Britain competition using the Sony PD-150s. I was also honoured to be given the roaming cameraman job on the mainstage at the big chill festival (aug06/07) shooting to four huge LED screens to a 15/20k strong crowd (Thank u, Simon Green from eventful. If u need an event organising, he really is your man) Artists Include:. Seasick Steve/Issac Hayes/Aim/Arrested Developement/Coldcut/Amba feat' Tom Middleton & Andy Gangadeen/E.S.T etc. That said. Some of the best people i've met along the way have been the Crew U ALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE XXXXXX YOU GUYS ARE THE REAL STARS XXXXXX I Love Making Music & Will 'Bust My Ass' For Anything I Like, signed or unsigned Amatuer to Pro

& Last but by no means least I'm getting into performing again!!!!

When i was 18 i started playin in bands. My first (the divide) was not a style or a sound i was even familar with (kinda Jim Morrison), but it was a start. We didnt gig much but i really got into our rehearsals and the band taught me a lot and got me out thereI didnt really know what style i was until i started getting into old skool funk (tower of power/the late great JB/Bootsy etc. and then later JK/The Brand New Heavies etc.) I slid in and out of a few groovey bands and had a mad stint with a promising pop funk band called Indian Queens (i never liked the name "no offence to the town!!"). We shot a video and did a loada gigs over the U.K(all the usual haunts - moles club, mean fiddler, u nose em!).it was great but i then found the wonderful world of studios and never really looked back Until Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.So now I'm working on Live projects with two outfits.Ilona Roberts and The JMW Band and a further two bands to follow shortly I been trying a few solo acoustic slots too!!!. lovin every minute of it.Please browse their myspace for more details (their in my top friends!).
