J-Killa Biography
J-Killa born in Ft. Lauderdale Florida USA, to parents from the Uk; residing in the US. During his infancy years his parents relocated back to the UK North London, accompanied by J-Killa.
Growing up with the British culture and the backdrop of Arsenal football Club in north London, it became J-Killa's home team. Even though Arsenal consecutively annihilated competitors and held the premiership cup, he found new interest with passion for basketball and hip hop music.
The inner-city streets of North London was a task of survival yet J-Killa with his small structure , opinionated, fearless, yet with a big heart hammered on through school; and the blunt in your face street attitude, which wasn't for the weak.
At the age of 14 J-Killa's older brother Rowdy-T a respected rapper, discovered the talent imploding in his younger brother. He taught him to structure lyrics and rhymes and make beats. Finally J-Killa was capable of confidently externally expressing and delivering his talents to an audience. Spending many valuable hours in the studio with Rowdy-T, It was time to graduate from Rowdy-T's training camp and step up to the microphone in the studio and begin work on his own album. This was the birth of J-Killa the child prodigy.
His exposure in the UK was through underground pirate radio stations and competing in many unsigned artist talent shows, this ultimately catapulted him as one of the fastest rising hip hop rapper kids on the block, clawing his way to becoming a buzzing heavyweight. The J-Killa style undoubtedly was from the new skool of rappers.
Returning as a youth to his native state of Florida, developed and with new perspectives, his swagger, high and low blinging grills and garmed out to the maximum. Palm Beach 561 became his reppin base, but London still remains an integral part of him.
J-killa molded a distinctive vocal sound, and a style that delivers thorough bred new skool hip hop blend, with versatility and a promise for talking about real life issues affecting the new generation on the streets. J-killa says "Aint no bill Clinton cover-up here, if the streets are for real and survival is for real, then I got to tell it and keep it real". He makes no apology for his uncensored lyrics with intermittent profanity scribed on club pimpin and thuged out beats.
J-killa's diverse reality check on life came through his dual international status by spending his whole life jetting from London, Georgia with his loved grandmother and remaining family in Florida. He has the mind of an entrepreneur and the skills of a rapper that most would envy, with invincible drive to succeed; J-killa is now permanently geographically located in down south Palm Beach 561, Florida.
As true hip hop soldier who hasn't even reached his prime yet, pushing all the boundaries within his range and being speculative with the use of metaphors is an ongoing mundane project. Spitting with military precision avalanched him into one of the tightest game rollers in his generation.
