Jierra

Jierra was born in Miami, Florida and by the time she was 4, music and dance were in her soul. Even at this young age, she began performing wherever there was a stage or a small gathering. A family move brought Jierra to Los Angeles where she quickly joined a performing arts group and became the lead singer and dancer. Having an equal passion for dance as singing, she trained and learned all different styles of dance and traveled throughout Southern California blowing audiences away with her soulful, melodic voice and dancing abilities.
As Jierra continued performing and meeting people, she began working on developing her music and sound. Her dream was to mix and blend great musical arrangements with rhythms with drum beats that would satisfy her as a dancer and have a rich thick sound while staying 'club and radio' friendly. She also grew as a person and artist, writing songs with great depth, emotion and message. Writing and learning everything she could under the guidance of very experienced producers and writers, Jierra got the opportunity to experience what it was really takes to make it as a singer/songwriter.



Recently one of the songs she co-wrote was featured in a full length film in the U.S which was released in the spring of this year. She was also the first artist to have the cover of Entertainment Insight magazine which debuted in May of this year. Jierra is currently working on two other large projects. One is a tribute to all the men and women in service. The other is a compilation album to raise awareness and charity for the orphaned children of Haiti.



Jierra is ready and excited to take her recording career to the next level. She has done hundreds of live shows all over the world, recorded many, many songs and met and worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. Vocally, Jierra has been likened to the early sounds of Mariah and Celine with the soul of Aretha. Jierra has one of the most unique voices you'll ever hear and has been able to stretch across the different genres to record on various other artists' records in R&B, Latin, Hip Hop and has even lent her Operatic style to records that needed a voice to sound like a finely tuned instrument.



She wants to take all of this experience, passion and talent and share it with her current fans and fans to come across the world. She is pursuing a recording contract and looks forward to going global with a creative team.
