BIO:
Jhing is a singer, songwriter, music producer, and actress from Los Angeles, California. She was surrounded by music all her life and was born to a family of singers and musicians. This greatly influenced Jhing as she was able to develop her style at an early age and used music as a window of expression.
Jhing's diversity allows her to sing and compose different genres of music which led to numerous opportunities. She's writes and sings with and for other artists and frequently does session work. She is one of the most sought out singers in Southern California and "gigs" as a freelance singer in the U.S.
Hollywood soon took notice as Director Sam Raimi gave Jhing her first acting role as a singing waitress in the blockbuster movie, SPIDERMAN 3. Some of Jhing's other credits include appearances in ABC's hit show "Boston Legal", starring James Spader and William Shatner; a lead role as Tamarine in the AFI film, "Buckets"; performances on NBC's The Today Show and America's Got Talent; and work on various Disney projects and commercials.
As an artist, she is best known in the independent music scene for her soul-flavored and jazz-tingled CD - "Sushi Money," which she co-wrote and co-produced with music industry veteran, Bobby Nunn, (The Jets, Philip Bailey (Earth Wind and Fire), Rick James). The CD also features Jhing's brother and R&B Prince, JayR. "Sushi Money" quickly caught on with music lovers around the world with thousands of fans in Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, Amsterdam, United States, England, Australia, Philippines, and many more.
