Jesus Squad

The group known, as Jesus Squad started in December 2005, Lantorrance



Rudd a.k.a. Teezy.t started the group. Teezy.t had been rapping every since



he was 11, he did secular up until he was 18. At that time he got truly born



again, so he had made up in his mind that he was no longer going to rap, but



God had a different plan for him. God said "Son I give you this gift for a



reason just because you no longer do secular music, does not mean you can



not do christian music for me." So Teezy obeyed God. It started off as just



Teezy.t and his younger brother Demetrius Rudd a.k.a. Lil Blak.



Lil Blak had just started rapping at age 16 so he didnt know what to expect



From it but he trusted God, and then their cousin Martavious Johnson joined



the group to be a hype man he didnt rap at all. They started off in their



chruch home and the church family loved it!!! It also gave them more



confidence. After about 2 weeks they started telling people about what they



had started doing for God. So they invited 3 of their close cousins to church



by the name of Michael Summers a.k.a. Young-T, Darrell Summers a.k.a. Lil-



D, and Martavius Summers a.k.a. Big Wayne to listen to them and they



enjoyed it. They started coming to church faithfully and they had



rededicated their live's to Christ. It was around November 2005 when they



asked could they be a part of the group, since they had been showing their



selfs faithful it was no problem. They were memebers of the group, but



there was a small problem none of them rapped, so round the end of November 2005 they continued to minister in music at church but only



Teezy,t and Lil Blak did the rap parts the rest just got CRUNK!!! with them.



In mid December they had a group meeting that everyone would begin to



write there own raps and thats exactly what happened. God is so AWESOME



they never even had rapped before or wrote a rap, but God had an powerful



anointing on their live's. But God said "seek first the Kingdom and all those



things will be added unto you" and thats what happened. So every since that



moment they have gone by the name Jesus Squad.
