Jessica began performing in front of and audience at the tender age of four and since then has fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a professional recording artist. For the last decade she has proven herself as a gifted singer, songwriter, and actor with a tremendous amount of success and accomplishment. Her break came when she was signed to Dreamworks Records in 1999. Signed as a founding member of the female Pop group “Soluna”, their debut album “For all Time” was released on May 14, 2002. The title track from their album “For all Time” rose to No.1 in Single Sales and Top 10 in Billboards Top 40 Mainstream chart. "Soluna" also became a sensation on television with the song's music videos, which appeared on MTV, VH1, and the Spanish stations MUN2 LATV, and many other stations Worldwide.
In 2002 Soluna toured alongside both Marc Anthony and Enrique Iglesias individual tours, and performed at hundreds of live concerts around the country, sharing the stage with artist such as Shakira, Mariah Carey, Destiny’s Child, Stevie Wonder, Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion, Alanis Morrissette, Alicia Keyes, No Doubt, Juanes, Nelly Furtado as well many others.
Special appearances at dozens of National and International venues including Madison Square Gardens, Radio City Music Hall and Staple Center (many of them televised) have also increased Jessica's popularity and love of performing. She has sung the National Anthem at NBA playoff games and with Soluna sang at NASCAR's Winston Cup--an event seen by over 20 million TV viewers. Other highlights have included performances for many special events: Sir Elton John's 10th Annual Oscar Gala benefiting his AIDS foundation, the NAACP Image Awards, and L.A. and San Diego Gay Pride as well as gueststarring on the numerous hit shows on the Nickelodeon channel. Awards include “Best Dance Remix” for “Bring it to Me” remixed by Victor Calderon, and “Best New Pop Artist” in 2003 at Los Heraldos awards in Mexico.
Songwriting is another true passion for Jessica. The album itself featured several songs penned by Jessica: “I’ll be waiting for you” as well as “Spanish Lullaby” and three others co-written with the group. “Luna Mia” was co- produced by Ozomatli.
Through the management of Suzanne De Passé,( worked side by side with Berry Gordy/Motown-instrumental in shaping the group “The Jackson Five”.) Soluna was signed by UPN to create a TV sitcom loosely based on their own lives. With writers who have an impressive array of credits--from Will & Grace to Seinfield and Martin, and with a production team headed by Kelsey Grammar's production company, Gramnet and Paramount Pictures the series pilot was shot in 2004. The character Jessica portrayed was the show's highest-rated according to research with numerous test audiences, a testament to Jessica's talent before the camera and film. Soluna decided to amicably go their separate ways in early 2005. Since then Jessica has worked with some of the Top Producers in the UK, including Fraser Smith, (James Morrison, Nelly Furtado,Craig David) and Artist Tynchy Stryder.
