I'm a 14+ year veteran of sports radio here in Tampa, FL on 620 WDAE, "The Sports Animal" (Clear Channel) where I'm an anchor and produce the number one rated afternoon drive time show in the market, the "Big Dog" Steve Duemig, weekdays from 3-7pm.
In the past, I've done freelance work for ABC Sports Radio, ESPN Radio, Fox Sports Radio, Sirius Satellite Radio, Pro Football Weekly, as well as several sports talk radio stations nationwide and radio networks of NFL teams.
I'm the producer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Radio Network, as well as the Tampa Bay Lightning Radio Network.
When I'm not working, obviously, I'm seriously into my music. I'm a country boy at heart, and have been the front man of a couple of local bands here in Tampa, as well as traveling up to Nashville for some projects in the past.
When I was a kid, a wise person once told me, "The biggest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearful you'll make one."
That's the best advice I've ever received, and the best advice I could ever give. It's taken me 33+ years to figure out just how true that one simple line is.
