Award winning Soprano, Jennifer Rosa has been performing Classical/Indie Classical, Sacred, Opera, and original repertoire for over fifteen years. Jennifer has grown very comfortable with singing in public arenas, as she has been selected to perform at various special events, renown venues, and stadium/arena sporting events (including Chicago White Sox Major League Baseball). She has been heard in several venues including The Royal Cathedral (Denmark), The National Cathedral (Washington, D.C.), Carnegie Hall (NYC), Mercury Lounge (NYC), and The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza (NYC) to name a few. Jennifer has also made appearances on WEEK TV, Woawa TV, WCWP Radio, WZOE Radio, WOAM Radio, WNYU, and more.



In addition to singing, Jennifer also writes indie Classical progressive vocal pieces ranging from dramatic contemporary to romantic. Jennifer loves to collaborate with other artists of all disciplines and styles. She also is the Soprano soloist in NYC rock band, Electric Black. When she's not on stage, she is productive as the Founder and Producer of Music Forum and The Stoop Concert Series in the heart of Manhattan. In New York City, Jennifer has an active career in the performing arts/music/live events industry writing music, collaborating, performing, and producing shows. Since her move to New York, she has already enjoyed performing in The Oratorio Society of New York at Carnegie Hall, singing for Tony-Award Winning Playwright Mario Fratti's “A Week of Italian Theatre”, and performing in the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in Times Square. Jennifer has recorded and released original material for her EP, "Closer" and shot a role in a new dramatic television pilot with Vegas Productions.



Jennifer's interests range from singing and acting to dancing. In addition to performance, she has also contributed to the arts as a voice teacher and ballroom dance instructor specializing Argentine Tango. She has gained experience in most styles including Latin and Ballroom, Salsa/Mambo, Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, and Hustle.



At her university, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Music Business and held many responsibilities in ensembles and organizations. Jennifer held the Head position for 24 Hours of Music, a philanthropy benefiting the Vh-1 Save the Music Foundation. She also spearheaded new events including the fall concert event, Rocktober Fest, benefiting Vh-1 as well.



She has gained much business and performance experience by taking advantage of such opportunities as interning at the prestigious Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts' New York City Opera. As a Marketing/Special Events intern, she also had the opportunity to prepare and perform two vocal recitals in Manhattan as an outreach project. Jennifer was honored and awarded by her university for her endeavors with New York City Opera.
