Jennifer Lynn is bound to be a nationally recognized singer. That’s what Washington State Magazine boasted in review of her sophomore album release “The Way I Feel Tonight”. The album features the musical talent of her long-time Portland, Oregon based band along with guest musician Sweet Basil McJagger (The Derailers) on piano and organ. She released the album only a month after opening for Taylor Swift at her alma mater (Washington State University) in the fall of 2007. Since then, Jennifer Lynn has taken the stage to perform throughout Oregon, Washington and Idaho as well as the honky tonks on Nashville’s lower Broadway.
She continues to have outstanding success sharing the stage with the finest country musicians in the world. In addition to Taylor Swift, Jennifer has opened for Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen, James Otto, Dean Brody, Rodney Atkins, Eric Church, Trailer Choir, Jo Dee Messina, Phil Vassar and more! She was also selected multiple times by major radio station’s to perform at their pre-concert parties for Keith Urban, George Strait, Rascal Flatts and Trace Adkins.
Jennifer is constantly writing new songs and has developed a solid repertoire of original music. She’s had the opportunity to perform her own songs at some of the most prominent venues in the region including Memorial Coliseum, Oregon Jamboree, Crystal Ballroom, Experience Music Project, Les Schwab Amphitheater and others.
She appeals to the everyday music listener and routinely surprises people into realizing they actually like country music. When performing a gentle ballad like her original “The Whiskey”, she can bend your ear like Vince Gill or Trisha Yearwood. Although, she’s certainly not shy about letting her Miranda Lambert or Gary Allan rocker-style show either. Just listen to her song “What’ll It Be” and you’ll discover her edgy side.
Year after year, Jennifer Lynn adds more live shows to her already outstanding performance history. Central Oregon’s The Source Weekly succinctly noted that “[Jennifer] Lynn has bolted to the forefront of the NW music scene.”
