Jennifer Carbonell’s refined talent and soulful voice creates excitement in the air whenever she delivers a performance. Having a striking and unforgettable presence on and off of the stage, it is clear to see why Jennifer Carbonell has gained the respect as one of the new Dance Music Divas of today. With her new release, “Broken Pieces” through Nervous Records already in heavy rotation on Pulse 87 and Party 105 in New York City, Sirius/XM Radio, amongst others, we can only expect this to be yet another hit for Jennifer. Broken Pieces has been mixed by Friscia & Lamboy, Tom Stephan (Superchumbo), Jerry Ropero, and legendary Kenny Dope.

Jennifer Carbonell was born on October 25th, in Miami Florida. She began to express her unique talents at the young age of four. Being of Latin descent, born to Cuban & Puertorican parents, Jennifer has enjoyed exploring and expanding her repertoire by recording sensational work in both English and Spanish. Throughout her career, Jennifer has collaborated with such artists as Inner Circle, Reggae Ambassadors, who are well known for their hit "Bad Boys" which is the theme song on the television show Cops. She appeared on their 2001 album, "Barefoot in Nigeria". Jennifer also made a profound impression in a collaboration with the former EMI recording artist, Tito Puente Jr., son of the legendary "Mambo King" Tito Puente, in which she is featured in two of his albums. She was also a former member of his group The Latin Rhythm Crew in which she toured all of South and North America.

Jennifer Carbonell's talents as a singer/songwriter have also allowed her to established substantial ties with legendary song writer Nick Martinelli who has produced and written songs for singing sensations - Diana Ross, Phyllis Hyman, Regina Bell, Teddy Pendergras, Rupaul and many more. Together they co-produced/wrote four of her earliest dance recordings. That was when Jennifer fell in love with dance music, claiming that she felt at home with this style in particular because it allowed her to be very versatile combining both her soulful R&B style along with her Latin roots. Her first record releases were with George Morel formally of Strictly Rhythm. Together they worked on several records that were released on his Indie Groove On Records. During that time she remained in the underground for a few years growing and sharpening her skills as a song writer and vocalist, and performing at events/venues such as Calle Ocho- the biggest street festival held every year in Miami - to all the Pride Fests anywhere where she could be heard and unleash her passion for her music.

Jennifer Carbonell then went on to score a Billboard Dance Chart hit in the summer of 2005 when she appeared as a featured artist on the song “Doesn't Really Matter”, a Tommy Boy release which appeared on the “Queer as Folk” soundtrack. The song “Doesn’t Really Matter”, a collaboration with fellow Miami producers Oscar G and Ralph Falcon a/k/a The Funky Green Dogs- a/k/a - Murk. She later met Hex Hector- DJ and a Dance Grammy Award winner known for remixing music for some of the biggest names in the business, such as J.Lo, Whitney Houston, Donna Summer, Tony Braxton and many more. He had moved to Miami from New York and met Jennifer through a mutual friend who took him to hear Jennifer at one of her shows. It was not long before they were in the studio collaborating on new music. One of the songs they did together - titled “Deliverance” was later released on Peter Rauhofer's label Star 69 records.

In 2007 Jennifer Carbonell's much anticipated single “Time”, as a solo artist was released through Nervous Records and was produced by Friscia & Lamboy. It reached to number 1 on XM satellite radio BPM, and played at numerous Dance stations throughout the Country. Jennifer has collaborated in the past few years with several different producers. Claiming that “it is so much fun working with different people from all parts of the worldthey all have their own particular style, and variety is always great…especially in Dance Musicwhere the sounds change every so often”. Some of her club hits to date are – “Reaction” produced by Austin Leeds, and “Erupt” by Superchumbo, “Dance the night Away” produced by DJ Dervish of Poland (a song that is set to be released at the end of 2008 by London Based Dance Label Metro Groove).
