Wisconsin is not a state commonly known for its hip hop; it's more well known for serial killers, magicians, and ghosts, so it's no wonder growing up in Wisconsin is more than just another midwest baseball and apple pie state. Jenetics is a hardcore hip hop duo whose subject matter ranges from death and destruction to alien autopsies and government cover ups. Emcees Luke "stress" and Ryan "Sever" grew up together uncovering the mysteries of the midwest. Influenced by hip hop artists such as Vinny Pazz ,Ill Bill, Necro, Jedi Mind Tricks, and hardcore bands such as Terror, First Blood, XchallengerX, some people have compared Jenetics to a combination of Immortal Technique and Nonphixion with a hint of death sex and gore.
