He had an early interest in music, his first outlets were singing, playing the piano and the trombone, and he studied music privately for many years. Over the past few decades, Jeff has entertained audiences all over his native New Jersey and the USA, and in nine countries around the world including Canada and much of Western Europe.

Jeff also owns and operates Earth Audio recording studios in Freehold, NJ where he has engineered and produced his 2006 CD "Alone And Together" containing 9 original tracks. Jeff also engineered and performed on the recent self titled release from "The Cryers" and contributed 3 original songs to that project as well.

Jeff has recorded in many studios in the tri-state area including Time Warner Studios, NYC and Planet Sound Studios, NYC where he worked with legendary producer Mike Theodore of the 1970s Detroit soul and disco scene.
Some of his credits include performing as a member of the favorite NJ acoustic act Americas Choice for over ten years with nationally renown acoustic blues artist, Frank Fotusky. He also co-founded the Acoustic Musicians Guild of NJ in 1996 and served on the executive board for several years and teamed up for some writing and performing with songwriter Henry Jack Williams whose work has been recorded by Uriah Heap, Greg Allman and The Oak Ridge Boys.

Other performance credits include opening for Richie Havens, Jefferson Starshiop, The Pete Best Band, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Connie Francis, Vienna Teng, The Platters, Bobby Lewis, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, The Drifters and more.
