DESCRIPTION:
Introducing the movie-concert " Tribute to Segundo de Chomón " pioneer of the coloring, the special effects and animation movie!
Stéphan Oliva (piano) and Jean-Marc Foltz (clarinet) present an incredible movie-concert consisting of three short films by the Spanish director:

- Le Spectre rouge (Pathé Frères, Paris -- 1907, 9'; restored by Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Cineteca di Bologna)
- La guerra e il sogno di Momi (Itala Film, Torino -- 1917, 41'; restored by Museo Nazionale del Cinema)
- Lulù (S. de Chomón, Torino -- 1923, 8'; restored by Museo Nazionale del Cinema)

Following to the restoration of the original 35mm material preserved by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema of Turin (Italy), Stéphan Oliva and Jean-Marc Foltz created a Live original soundtrack to rediscover these masterpieces. Created during the 2008 Festival Strade del Cinema in Aoste, Italy.
