To become successful in the music game, you must have an ear for the sound of the streets.



The newest fresh face to the music production scene is Jeff Bryant aka “Jeffro”, from San Francisco, CA. Jeffro, a unique blend of talent for hearing sounds within music, has always been interested in creating sound. As early as 10 years old, Jeffro began beat boxing and banging on tables, by mimicking beats in his mind to music he listened to. As a music fan, his inspirations included Timbaland, 2pac, Mob Figaz, E-40, Bone Thugs, R&B, and video game music. At the age of 12, he picked up a video game called “MTV Music Generator” and began making beats as a hobby. It was then, when he started to develop his gift for hearing music in a different form.



After picking up a few other production tools, Jeffro realized that music production was his niche. A Swedish producer by the name of Chubby stumbled upon his music, and contacted him about becoming a member of an 18 person production team under “Large Money Entertainment”. In 2007, Jeffro received his first production placement with 40 Glocc’s “When the Yellow Bus Stops” featuring Keak Da Sneak and Jayo Felony. With the popularity of his first placement, word quickly spread on the streets, opening doors for other opportunities. His next hit “All Over Me” by the Jacka, placed Jeffro in the national spotlight when the song hit urban radio and the video became a buzzing sensation on major cable networks. From there he landed more production on the Jacka’s album “Tear Gas”, which debuted at 4 on the Billboard Rap Charts. With the notoriety of his skills, other artists including Freeway, J-Stalin, Husalah (Mob Figaz), Laroo, and Dem Hoodstarz, have come looking for production.



Jeffro is known as a versatile producer with a mixture of numerous genres of music (Rap, Pop, R&B), which creates his own style. By using visual images in his mind, he creates beats that are known for their heavy hitting drums, bass, and hypnotic sounds which are fuel to the streets. He also plays many of the instruments used in his production such as the guitar, keyboard, and other sound effects. Other upcoming placements include projects with Roscoe Umali, Paul Wall, Freeway, the Jacka, Netta Brielle, and Dem Hoodstarz.



With a skill of hearing arrangement, repetitiveness, and a known ear for radio replay value, it’s only a matter of time before Jeffro becomes a studio name. With the consistent change in music, the lasting effect and memorable qualities are derived from the ears of the beat.
