Jazzlyn Marae

Jazzlyn is a typical girl that likes to go to the mall and shop for clothes with her girlfriends. She likes to boogie board at the beach and frequent the local water park. What isn't so typical about Jazzlyn, is that she has the voice of a superstar. Jazzlyn has a style all her own, a cross between Rock and Pop. She was born in Portland, Oregon. She relocated to the Los Angeles area to pursue her dream of singing and acting. She LOVES to sing, act, and dance and would like to pursue a career in all three. Jazzlyn has been modeling since the age of three, dancing since the age of four and became serious about a career as a singer only 4 short years ago. She had the honor of being a featured singer in a benefit to raise money for the nature conservancy in Orange County. She also sings at Shriners Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. She has made appearances at amusement parks and just finished recording her first CD with two-time Grammy award winner, Herbert Waltl and Drew Lane (15 platinum albums for projects such as High school Musical and Hannah Montana) Jazzlyn has been a regular model for companies including, Billabong, Ocean Pacific, (O.P.) and sports Chalet. She participated in the music video "United," directed by Taron of TXL Productions., which won six film festival awards. Jazzlyn was invited to New York to talk to the U.N, in support of the video that addressed the issue of Human Rights. She has had the honor of taking part in several stage productions including Tom Sawyer, The Little Princess, Cinderella, Wonka, and many others. Jazzlyn trains vocally with Brandon Rogers of North Hollywood and Guy Babusek of Orange County. She is not only an accomplished singer but also a very talented song writer, of which 4 of her songs will be on her debut CD. Her Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, and Tap training comes from her time spent at Orange County Dance and Theater Arts, while her hip hop and Jazz Funk come from classes choreographed by Brooklyn Jai and Shane Sparks from the hit TV shows "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Americas Best Dance Crew". The music Factory of Orange County is where Jazzlyn receives her guitar and piano training. Jazzlyn enjoys her time off too. If she isn't working or training in the entertainment industry, you will find her hanging out with friends, choreographing dances, tee peeing boys houses, and pulling pranks on family members.
