Since he was a young child JayeLL’s world has revolved around music absorbing it like a sponge. Now at the age of 20 there is no stopping the capabilities of such a talented young man. Ever since he first touched an instrument it was plain to see that Jay was going places. Having opened so many doors for himself already at such a young age, from remixing songs for blues artists to starting his own label with his creative peers, there is still a long way to go to reach his goals, but he plans to do even bigger things in the NEAR future.



He was born and raised in South-West Atlanta, Georgia named L. Jahmal Lockman, and always getting caught thumbing through his brothers tapes by NWA, Dr. Dre, Master P and countless other artists. Though he was always beating on his toy drum and learning the keyboard and flute, Jahmal's childhood was nothing extrodinary. He's always kept a good relationship with parents although they were to split at his age of 7. During this time he and his mother relocated to Springfield, Massachusetts, the city where he expresses his gain of street smarts. Jaye noted that being around different types of people provide for theirselves , yet also being the only child in the household gave him the drive to also provide for himself.



Jahmal's love for music never fell behind him. While living in Springfield, he later learned (at the age of 13) that he could be a producer, having experinced playing different instruments. "After hearing Lil' Jon and The Eastside Boyz' (Play No Games), and feeling like going back to Atlanta IMMEDIATELY, I knew i wanted to do music", Jaye stated. At first he wasn't exactly the best, but hardwork and practice prevailed in the long run. Since then Jaye has produced countless tracks for popular Springfield area artists such as close friend and family member HOTZ, previous labelmate Dre Streets, C-Banga, Killa Chris, Dev, and Amanda. He has also dealt with local Atlanta artists such as Po Rich, Citty, Mr. Finesse, Yung Stack, Yung Micky, Mr. Perfect, Yung Treal, El Capi and many others.



The list of collaborations can go on for hours, or days because as we read this biography he is still producing music for the world to enjoy. It's no secret that Jaye and hard work have been acquainted for quite some time, and as he continues the pursuit of his dream it shall all pay off. "The opportunites are countless.", Jaye states "I'm going all the way, failure is not an option. Watch me do me. "
