Song For Food ® is a timely, innovative music project born out of a desire to help raise funds and awareness for our food banks which are struggling to keep up with the growing demand for help as a result of the current economic crisis. The vision is to offer great new music for year-round enjoyment, along with some "food for thought." It is also an avenue to introduce and support talented emerging artists who share a desire to be of service to their communities.

Most recently, Jasmine Commerce was chosen as the national grand prize winner of Nine West's Vintage Voices National Songwriting Contest, and recorded her winning song, "Meant to Be", with Sony/ATV Music Publishing Company in New York City. The song was produced by 2-time Grammy-winner, Michael Mangini (David Byrne, Jonas Brothers, Joss Stone, etc.), and is set to be released on Hickory Records, Sony/ATV's in-house label, distributed through RED Distribution, and featured on iTunes in January, 2010. As part of the grand prize, Jasmine is featured in the December 2009 issue of Lucky Magazine.
