Jan Linville

I was born in Nashville, raised in Franklin, graduated from Battle Ground Academy and received my BS degree in advertising/public relations with minors in marketing/psychology/English/history from MTSU. I am richly blessed with a husband who has amazed me for 24 years and two beautiful children who are my heartbeat.



I signed my first publishing deal with Big Fish Entertainment in 1998 and have had songs recorded by Matt Kennon, Jeff Cornish, Richie Fields, Matt Bailie, Zane Lewis, The Michael Stacey Band, Eddie Barber, Andy Martin, Rivershyne, Double Shot, Vicky Atwood, Crista Lynn and others. The song "Great to Be Alive," co-written with/recorded by Matt Bailie, was #1 on the Florida Country Music charts for two consecutive weeks in February '09 and will be featured on Matt's self-titled CD to be released in November 2010 In May 2010, a song co-written with Chip Martin and Matt Kennon entitled "Ride With Me" was released on Matt's debut cd "Matt Kennon" produced by James Stroud on BamaJam Records.
