We all need a great story of how a star is born. Jamie Walsh grew up in a musical family, and has sung and played since he was five years old. When

Jamie started classical music training at the age of nine, he discovered his passion and has pursued music ever since. Jamie started playing guitar at the age of fourteen; he played at benefits, fund raisers and talents shows, wowing audiences wherever he played. At age sixteen he started playing professionally with local bands and as a solo performer. Jamie has also studied at St. Francis Xavier School of Music Jazz Program.



Jamies pursuits towards the realization of his debut CD, NOTE TO SELF , have a spark of inspiration from his blues band called West Coast Blues. After playing with these seasoned and highly respected musicians, who will also accompany him on his CD, Jamie has discovered his unique guitar styling and presentation of his music. The timing of the release of Jamies new CD is very important because of a local studio that has been an integral part of this project. Stan Gallant, the owner of the studio, has long been a friend and musical collaborator with Jamie. Stan will also engineer and produce the CD.



Jamies music is best described as an eclectic blend of many styles that have come together to create a truly timeless masterpiece. There are elements of blues, rock and pop with a unique combination of Jamies melodies and vocals. This music is distinctively, JAMIE WALSH.
