Back in the early 1980's, a new form of lifestyle was beginning to evolve in New York City's South Bronx borough of New York, that will soon shape and rearange the sound of music as we know it. The music is called " Rap " the lifestyle is called " Hip-Hop". It was then that a child was born to parents of Puerto Rican decent in Spanish Harlem, New York, on August 21st, 1981 that will soon change the sound of Hip-Hop as we know it. His name, Raymond J Vasquez, better known as Jae'son.

After falling in love with rap at the tender age of 9, Jae'son knew that this was his calling. Growing up on the rough streets of Spanish Harlem influenced both his music and his style. By the time he was 15 years old, Jae'son was writing, producing and performing his own material. At the young age of 17, Jae'son was signed to an Independant Record Label called, " Straight Face Records ". This was also the home of another Spanish Harlem artist known as, Lumidee. After being on the label for one year, he had consumed record deal offers from top notch record labels such as, Sony, Def Jam and Interscope. With an album completed and a buzz on the streets of New York City a sudden turn for the worst was yet to come. After two years with Straight Face Records, Jae'son had a fall out with his label. When asked, " what happened " ? He says, " I felt like the label wasn't behind me as much as i thought they were, so i had to continue to move foward and do what i have to do ".

Since the fall out with his former label Jae'son put everything on hold and went back to the drawing board, this time destined to not loose. After a run in with the law in 2002 leading to an assult charge and tresspassing charge, Jae'son moved to Tampa, Florida to plan out his next move. In 2003 he released his first mixtape titled, " The Next Best Thing " which went on to sell 7 thousand copies from New York City to Tampa, Florida.

With just one year living in Tampa, Fl, Jae'son decided to move back home to New York City. Since returning to New York City in 2003, Jae'son later on hooked up with former label mate, Lumidee. Since then Jae'son went on to become Lumidee's opening act and hypeman on all of her European shows to date.

Performing all over the world since 2003 to sold out crowds in countries such as, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Iceland, Greenland, France, Canada, Greece, Holland, Spain, Usa, Italy and Africa, Jae'son was able to gain worldwide exposure and a keen sense on how to master and control a crowd from 500 to 60,000 in attendence. With freestyles on some of Europe's biggest mixtapes and a stage presence that'll convince and overwhelm any Hip-Hop lover, Jae'son is a star with a bright future.
