Jade, an actress and pop music singer, started in show business as a child singer and as a child fashion model for magazine and television commercials. At age three, she began performing for live audiences of up to 10,000. She was a fearless baby on stage. At seven, she began her acting career in a soap opera. At fifteen, she joined a punk band. A multi-talented musician (she plays piano, guitar and drums), Jade is a down-to-earth girl with a superheated funky fashion sense who knows what she wants. She has one very clear goal in mind - whatever the outcome, you have got to have fun!While touring solo and with her band in the past in Asia, Europe and South Africa, this Asian-born punk-pop 'dangdut' dynamo found that she favoured the up-tempo songs that brought the beats of Tokyo, Ibiza and Las Vegas together for her audiences. She resolved to record the kind of sexy, light-spirited and high energy music that she loved to unleash on stage. A talented artist with a well-trained ear for powerful, magnetic pop melodies, Jade has begun to slowly and steadily lay the groundwork for her career here in Canada. Jade is intensely involved in every aspect of bringing this show to you. From choosing her producers and musical collaborators to obsessively tweaking the tones and drumbeats in the studio, she has worked hard to ensure that this is her best music yet.
