I give thanks to God, and to my father Jack and my mother Marilyn, for any talent I may possess.my parents are so gifted and creative and special. I love them.



I give thanks for so much love, support, and inspiration from my husband of 20 years and from my 3 fantastically wonderful and beautiful-inside-and-out daughters, who never cease to amaze me with their joy, their talent, their lovely spirits and their generosity. I love my family.



I give thanks for my sister Penny and my brother Jeff, who are both my heroes. When I think I'm too tired to go on, all I have to do is turn my thoughts to these two, who have worked so hard and are incredible, thoughtful, beautiful people. I love them so much.



I give thanks for my friends, present and past, from whom I've learned much, have laughed and cried with, who I am there for when they need me, and they are there for me when I need them.through our faults and misgivings. And Helen, I still miss you. You are the one that cannot be replaced. I wish you were here.this summer especially. I'm looking forward to seeing you in heaven one day. How I do love my friends.



I love writing songs. I hope I can turn my soul inside out and pour it into all my songs forever more. Songs are catharctic and therapeutic and fun and full of life and love and sadness and bliss and everything meaningful. Writing songs is empties me out and fills me up at the same time. I love that.



I am blessed beyond belief and I hope I can live up to it.
