LITTLE JACKFISH RIVER EH? Sounded innocent enough. like a creek in someone’s backyard. But it wasn’t. It was a monster. wider and faster than anything we’d ever paddled before. with rapids that screamed and surged around rocks the size of Suburbans.



Through thick fog and mighty winds our tiny vessel couldn’t bear the strength of the storm. Tossed ashore, we found ourselves stranded in a dark and chilling world of wind and waves.

Suddenly through the gloom appeared a man; as strange and bewildering as anything we’d ever seen. he said he was a storyteller. he said his name was Jackfish.



We sat in the shadow of heavy clouds among beast and birds, as The Jackfish spun for us his twisting tales of unusual intrigue. With the babbling tongue of a traveler, he took us on a winding inward journey, painting pictures of another world with strokes from a palette of grisly greys and bottomless blacks. sending us spiraling down a forking road where childish imagination and adult brutality intersect.



And since we’ve found ourselves lost in this murky and magical swamp, we cannot escape. the gate has been shut. The hooks are set. will you take the bait??
