They've been called a "blast from the past", but began their legacy in the new millennium. Heavily influenced by Classic Rock, Avant-Garde Jazz and Classical music; Orange Fuzz is an original three-piece band originating from Toronto, Canada. Well known for high-energy Rock and Roll Music, when they're live and amplified, their tunes never fail to please the audience. Founded by the Staples Brothers, Daniel and Matthew in 2006, their close friend Zachary Zanardo was the perfect addition to complete the sound, style and ingenuity of Orange Fuzz. Working Eight days a week at what they do, The Fuzz has been gigging everywhere from most venues downtown Toronto and other hip locations in this beautiful country. With a growing fan-base, plans to release their third full-length album this year are looking good, very, good. Hang tight folks! A Demo CD will be available soon.*

ORANGE FUZZ: This three-piece power trio was a blast from the past. They all had shaggy haircuts, with their singer/guitar player (who switched to bass and back during the set) looking like a younger version of Brian May. The band all wore button-down shirts--without the frilly Queen-like collars, mind you--and heavily emulated The Doors and Blue Cheer with their bluesy acid-rock sound. They even busted out a James Gang cover, but don't get me wrong, we're not talking about a buncha old men here. There was a sizable teenage fanbase out to support these guys, and the band members weren't drinking anything harder than water this evening. Let it be known that I'd much rather see the youth of today playing this kind of music rather than joining karate-chop-inducing metalcore bands with rediculous stupidly long names. Orange Fuzz, I salute you!
