IV LUNA

The band was formed out of the ashes of Rome, Italy, by Miki (vocals - guitar), Laki (lead guitar) and Bj (bass), with the addition of Alex (drums) few mounths later.
It was the autumn of 1994. The wine was good and intoxicating.
5 years and 2 demo-tapes later, the band released the first full-length album and toured Italy a number of times. "Liberamente" was a 6-pieces album, a tipsy mix of progressive – heavy – psycho - metal. Not exactly an easy-listening genre!
In 2003, IV LUNA released the second album, "D'incanto" and constantly evolved developing into one of the most remarkable and unique prog-metal acts in Italy, uniting technique, heaviness, epic-poetic vocals, Italian non-comfortable lyrics and live impact. 12 tracks, 60 minute, an introspective ride inside your darkest emotions.
At the same time, they have played everywhere in Italy. New friends and old friends, all together, drinking in the name of non-globalized idea of music.
In 2006, "Anteroom" (with Giacomo Citro on bass) seemed to be their painful epitaph. In the meanwhile the guys spent more time on other projects (in successful bands like DOOMRAISER and BELLADONNA).
Now IV LUNA have returned to reclaim their own space and prove that they have truly recorded an album of excellence.
