Iva Cojic aka Iva I.Kon - CV



I am singer / pianist / songwriter born in Belgrade in a semi music family. I started playing the piano at the age of 5, singing, dancing and acting in a different groups and competitions.



Germany:



PIANO: Masters degree in classical piano at Hochschule fuer Musik Munich.

SINGING: I studied jazz and gospel singing.

I sang solo and as a backing vocal for many international and German stars.



London: Career Highlight up to now:



Signed to EMI CLASSIC International with the classic contemporary band “WILD”, Mel Bush’s brain child( Vanessa Mae, Bond) www.wildmusic.co.uk (I was the only vocalist and pianist among 5 female musicians). We released 1 CD and DVD.



Producers /writers for their album : JEFF WAYNE (War of the worlds), ERIC SERRA (The Fifth Element, Big Blue), ORION (Prodigy, Dido, Embrace)…



Tours: Mexico , Asia (Japan , Hong Kong , Malaysia , Bangkok , Singapore) , Australia…

We opened the Melbourne Cup (for 120.000 spectators on the stadium) in 2005 which was aired to millions of viewers on SKY. "WILD" performed there also after Pavarotti and opened the Heineken Rugby Cup Final in Edinburgh as well in 2005 (for 60,000 people).



I also featured Maxim (pianist) as a vocalist in "The Olympic Dream"(produced by David Essex), released in the official album for the Olympic games 2004 by EMI.



I speak: English, French, German, Serbian and a bit of Russian.



Solo career:



My mixed blood, living abroad, as well as many trips around our beautiful planet made me naturally explore seriously different music genres from classical, jazz, blues, rock…and discover my music style and expression.



I’m currently preparing my solo album.
