Ladies First

Since 1999, Ladies First has been rocking the world of female a cappella at Indiana University in Bloomington. The group is made up of 10-12 ladies and performs where ever great a cappella music is wanted! Ever since their first appearance, the ladies have made big strides in the collegiate a cappella community. In February 2000 they advanced to the Midwest Semifinals of the National Championships of Collegiate A Cappella and toured California with the Alumni Association in March. The highlight of their year was their full-length spring concert and the debut of their self-titled album in April 2000. since then 2 more albums were released; "Ticket to Anywhere," and "Down For the Ride." In 2005, Ladies First took third place at the ICCA District Competition. "Down For the Ride" has been nominated for best female a cappella album and best female soloist in the 2006 Cara Competition.
