The New York born & bred Musician/Producer/DJ started his career as a Hip Hop dancer for CURIOUS JORGE and the legendary BRAND NUBIAN having toured with groups such as KMD (MFDOOM), LEADERS OF THE NEW SKOOL (BUSTARYMES), DE LA SOUL (NATIVETONGUES), RUN-DMC and NAUGHTY BY NATURE. Truth has been in the studio with the likes of GRAND PUBA and GEMINI THE GIFTED ONE honing his production skills and producing tracks for such talents as TRULIFE (ROC A FELLA) and M1 of DEAD PREZ.



"Growing up in Hell's Kitchen NYC I was exposed to many different elements of Hip Hop at a very young age. Graffiti I must say was and still is my first love. DJ'ing came a bit later but, never-the-less, was always around me. In 1983 at the age of 12 I saw DJ'ing for the 1st time at a festival on 9th Avenue in my neighborhood. There were people dancing in the streets to RUN DMC's "Sucker MC's" and the Fat Boys' "Stick'em". Cats were doing the Electric Boogie - it was awesome! A good friend of mine had one turntable he managed to save up for and a mixer he swapped for some records. He would jack his mom's record player and hook them up together to this super old jack'd up mixer and start doing blends. I was in awe! That was my 1st unofficial DJ lesson."
