Isabel and Monica

Davila Ministries presents a new project from Isabel and Monica called, "Destined". Destined has 10 songs; some cover songs like "Talk About It" and some originals like "You're The One". This cd also has its singing debut from Monica like "You'll Get Through This". As well as Isabel who debut her writing ability and wrote and co-wrote some of the songs along side their mother Anna Davila, who normally writes their material.



Isabel and Monica has always wanted to release a full length English album, considering that is there main language they speak and they will be able to reach an entirely different set of listeners. Another Spanish album will come of course later, because they are Latinas and its in their blood. They are just concentrating on this side for the time being. This album has been long over due, and they chose the title "Destined", because these girls know one thing for sure, What their Destiny is? That is to serve their God whole hearted and to spread the gift of song and music to all that will hear. Isabel and Monica knows that there God has prepared a way for them and that thier path has not only been laid out, but that their path has already been "Destined".



Isabel was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She is the oldest of 3 children. The desire of singing first began when she started singing with the youth at Church "Lirio de los Valles"; which at the time she was 13 years old. A recording was a desire but not a possibility. The family at that time was in a very fixed income which made it impossible to even imagine a recording. Later, that year ex-Pastor, Marciano Camarillo, whom is now with the Lord was praying and saw a vision from the Lord. He heard a young lady singing in the church, a large crowd was gathered and many people were coming to go see who was singing. He went through the crowd and at his surprise he saw that it was Isabel. Not too long after his vision, Isabel's dad came into some money and a loan was given to him which made it possible for the first album "Cristo Te Entronamos" to be recorded.



There after, God has been blessing this Ministry and opening doors. The 2nd recording "Por Amor" was released featuring "Los Truinfantes" of San Antonio. The album consists of live original music with a mixture of Tejano and Cumbias.A "Special Edition" CD was then released the following year featuring the 2nd album "Por Amor" with an additional 5 original new songs: "Bonita Quinceanera", "Oh Juventud", "Un Ano Mas", "En JesuCristo Hay Poder", and "Madrecita".
In 2000, Isabel Davila was married to Felix Lopez. They now have 2 daughters: Rachel Natallie and Samantha Raven.



Monica was born on August 2, in Houston,Texas and is 2nd born to David and Anna. Monica started singing along side with Isabel since she was 13 years old. She recorded some backup vocals in Isabel's first recording "Cristo Te Entronamos" and second album "Por Amor".
Monica's mom encouraged Monica to commit to the singing Ministry, she knew in her heart there was a calling in Monica's life in this area as well. Later, God confirmed through dreams and visions that Monica will eventually record an album of her own and that God would use her in this area, even the confirmation has come through people that seen this talent in her. Monica would say, "How do I know I have it?"; Monica's mom says,"The talent is seen way before it is perfected, because God reveals it".



Since then Monica has taken a big step from her small beginning, she has finally recorded her own solo in Isabel and Monica's new album "Destined". Now, within the years Monica has gotten married to Oscar Vasquez. They now have two daughters Alyssa Renee and T.J. Her goal is to be able to touch the lives of everyone, to show that being a servant of God is a wonderful privilege and to show the Youth that we can have an awesome time praising God. Mainly, it is taking the message of Song and the Power of the Word to anyone that will listen.
