IRE$I$T

August 2006 marks the inescapable start for Frankfurt based Metalcrew IRE$I$T. With their mixture of Thrashmetal, Sludge and Southern Rock, the band does excactly the kind of hard music they are missing so much in the music scene around their area. Whiskey-dripping, honest Metal with groove and soul that gives a shit about fashion and black fingernails. Straight in your face. Not following any trends.



Through their engagements in different bands and on many stages in and around germany every member of the band has already learned it the hard way years before the actual founding of IRE$I$T. And the stage actually is the place where the band feels the most comfortable today. In an euphoric mood after a glorious gig somewhere in the underworld of Frankfurt their bassist once was on point when he assured that this is excactly it why he works his ass off with the band each and every time.



In March 2007 IRE$I$T went into the studio to record their first five songs on tape during a quick weekend session. Now with their first EP entitled "Rise from the ashes” in their baggage they are raring for a wide-ranging ramble through the clubs of europe. Be on the lookout for some shady phenomena, teeming with energy and enthusiasm. Starring the act for your ears and eyes: Shredding guitarriffs with a hell of a drive, ripping basslines that make your stomach burst, pounding drums that crush your marrow out your bones and last but not least an elemental force of a voice that blackens your eyes slowly like the deadly poison of a king cobra.
