In The Back Of The Real

Hello,



We are In The Back Of The Real, a self-taught, self-sufficient 4 piece from Derby/Nottingham in England.



We started making music in the January of 2006, but adjusted our ultimate line up in April 2009. Our sound has also developed somewhat since the beginning, and is continuing to develop towards. something. Hopefully something good. All we know is that we like to make and play music we enjoy listening to.



We've never been able to describe our own music in terms of a genre. The words: Rock, Punk and Metal are the worst words you could possibly use to describe our music. We're not into riffs or solos, but we are, however, into soundscapes, signal processing, dynamics and 'epic' walls-of-sound.



We've recorded 2 Ep's at Dub:Rek in Derby and we are really happy with them. The latest Ep is entitled "Echoes Of An Industry".
