Another cliche states that those who are mad about music, namely those who can spend hours rummaging through second hand vinyl-stuffed boxes in stores like the great Championship Vinyl (Robs store, the main character of Nick Hornbys novel High Fidelity), have a rock star alter ego somehow hidden in their subconscious. For this reason we would like to perform privately the lysergic effect caused by the listening of any LP by this or that band from somewhere in a northern state of the US .

Inq are the sort of people who get their kicks from listening to music, discovering new and old bands, and dig for all the details those records include.

Their sound is not haphazard; it is the outcome of sneaking in the pop-rock files and turning them upside down without decorum: from early rocknroll to 90s alternative pop-rock; from surf to psychedelia; from punk to new-wave. And last but not least Inq pays a well deserved tribute to the Velvet Underground.

It is as if Ginny -see Lou Reeds Rock and Roll- made her own band after listening and grooving to that NY RocknRoll station.

This is not HOBOKEN, nor STOCKTON, nor MANCHESTER. but turntables and cd players can play the same records here and everywhere, and passion for decibels is alike in Catalonia and Washington DC.
