Rock music has taken off in many different directions today. Forging ahead on their own unique path is Phoenix, Arizona’s own Innuendo.

This band has been around the block a few times. Formed in 1993, Innuendo have reached a world-wide audience, releasing 6 CD’s, and a DVD along the way, all receiving hundreds of positive reviews in major American & European music publications. In addition, the band has received extensive European radio-play & international distribution, played hundreds & hundreds & hundreds of shows, along with multiple big-name concert openers & festivals, and had numerous television appearances.

Combining

memorable melodies with timeless songwriting, the band is not afraid to follow it's heart. Innuendo

is definitely doing this for all the right reasons, and in it for the long

haul. Refusing to jump on the "flavor of the day" bandwagon, Innuendo has

been around long enough to have developed a diverse and deep body of

work that defies categorization. Bands like this just don’t come along

everyday.

Hard to define, impossible to forget; Innuendo.

ROCK UNITED - Sweden - December 2004

".one of the better independent melodic hardock acts from the states. Classy harmonies and sing-a-long melodies has always been their trademark sweet, melodic, singer. Watts is a power tenor with a voice that is instantly memorable. Tracking for this album was done by drummer Dave Beyer (ex-Melissa Ethridge) in LA (he also plays on a track), as well as at the band's studio in Pheonix. There's also a fine cover of "Oh Darling" (The Beatles), included between the originals."

POWERPLAY - United Kingdom - November 2004

".well crafted songs that aren't afraid to flex their muscles. The key word for this CD is diversity. In guitar player Brett Richey they have a man who can play with the best of them. His ability on the guitar is what lifts this album from out of the ordinary. He also has a knack of writing strong, catchy melodies. certainly as good as anything that the likes of MTM, Frontiers and the like are putting out."

HARD ROCK HOUSE - United Kingdom - November 2004

"Centered around guitar player, principal songwriter and engineer Brett Richey, “Half Empty” is a collection of well-written, well played songs. Stylistically, the band have bluesy, soulful, AOR leanings. they’ve managed to produce a quality album, it’s completely against the current trends and to their collective credit, that’s a brave move. It is too easy to jump on the nearest bandwagon and make music that you don’t believe in just to ensure that you make a quid. There’s a good mix of acoustic and electric guitar throughout the album, which gives each song a slightly broader dimension. Overall, “Half Empty” is difficult to fault, a very easy listen and a very high standard of song writing. There’s talent here and a fine product."

MELODIC.NET - Sweden - September 2004

"Innuendo has a very interesting sound with strong vocal harmonies mixed with lovely melodies and the production has major label quality for sure. high quality songs. there are lots of ear candy & well crafted songs. awesome melodies and hook lines. The ballads on the album are beautiful. Andy Watts has a strong soaring voice that suits Innuendo´sound just perfect and gives the songs extra life together with the strong harmony vocals. Those of you that already own an album with these American sensation should get this new album pronto and for those who never heard of this album I can only say that you don't wanna miss this one. A strong album filled with mellow catchy melodic rock. Pure class."

GET OUT MAGAZINE - Phoenix - September 9, 2004

"On their sixth CD, Innuendo continue to drive hard rock into a head-on collision with pop, creating a sound that blends rich melodies with crunchy guitars and a dose of bombast. Guitarist Brett Richey is a solid rock player, adept at 12 string acoustic passages, soaring twin guitar leads and heavy power chording. a good listen."

AOR CENTRAL - Los Angeles - February 2002

"definite hit potential!!!. Innuendo's best album. certainly one of the most original bands at the moment."

MOOD SWINGS - Northern Ireland - May 2002

"From the first moment I put this album on it felt comfortable - a bit like an old favorite sweater. This collection isn't the most obvious follow up to their previous album and Innuendo are clearly a band that intend to follow their hearts when it comes to deciding what to do next. If you're an existing fan, then this is yet another one for your collection. Innuendo haven't lost their touch."

METAL & HARD ROCK AREA - Germany - May 1999

"For a self-financed album this is a real killer! There are 17!!! classic AOR tunes on this album. Highlights are difficult to mention here because the song writing is simply amazing. Overall, this is one of the best self-financed CD's sent in to me. Huge production due to Brett Richey and the rest of the band, outstanding performances by all of the musicians and 17 great songs. Great value for the money and by far better than most of the releases from domestic record labels".

AOR CENTRAL - Los Angeles - May 1999

"In a time where melody and creativity are shunned in popular music, Innuendo go against the trends and play from the heart, creating melodic "radio friendly" tunes that deserve recognition".

RECORDING MAGAZINE - November 1999

"On first listen it's obvious that the members of Innuendo have done this before (it's their 3rd CD). The tracks sound professional. Great acoustic guitar sounds, punchy bass, well blended vocals with just enough reverb. A good band. It's good to hear that their going stronger than ever".

CATCHY HOOKS - Sweden - August 1999

"Wow, I'm shocked. This is unbelieveabley good. The package that we got from guitarist/songwriter Brett Richey is, as the whole album, great! I could mention almost all the songs. But the only right thing for you readers to do is to buy this subperb CD. You won't be disapointed".

THE MUSIC PAPER - New York - April 1997

"Here's one of those bands that's stuck together for a while and has stuck to doing what it does best rather than jumping aboard the alternative music bandwagon. the lead vocals and harmonies are great and all four members are accomplished players. The material is as strong as the band, but it's the strong harmonies that set Innuendo apart from the pack".

MUSIC CONNECTION - Los Angeles - April 1995

"Starting off with the most professional press kit we've seen in some time, this finely produced album mixes acoustic and electric rock with some interesting changes, memorable melodies and high quality harmonies".

RECORDING MAGAZINE - June 1995

"This is another one of those tapes that are so good it's hard for me to recommend too many steps to make it better. The guitar and lead vocal sound like they were recorded by a pro. The background vocals are stupendous. Summary: I'm impressed".

THE MUSIC PAPER - New York - September 1995

"This is ballsy arena rock with a lot goin' for it, namely guitarist Brett Richey, who easily outplays most platinum-sportin ax-boyz; and the fact that these guys write brilliant, testosterone-charged metal-edged pop fluff bursting with angelic harmonies, solid hooks, orchestral guitar riffs, thoughtful lyrics, gentle acoustic flourishes and searchingly earnest vocals".
