Great music has become a hometown tradition in Muscle Shoals over the past 50 years. Everyone from Bob Dylan to the Rolling Stones has recorded there, and local talent has created everything from Soul Classics by Percy Sledge to Alt Country rave-ups by the Drive-By Truckers.



The bar is very high in that neighborhood, so it isn’t difficult to understand how a teenage trio became so good. The trio comprised of brothers Alexander and Micheal Bowling, and their cousin James Sherrill, has been providing audiences with slamin’ tunes and solid performances since the late summer of 2006.



Over their productive years, Planet Ink has created quite a name for themselves in and around Alabama. The group’s fan base only continues to grow as the band takes the Southeast by storm.



The group's second album was recently released on MARCH 20th, and is promised to be a great follow up.
